  6. Mines a little thicker than that or might be about the same its just regular not ginger though so it might just "look" thicker..
  7. I always thought that it was that one part, either ammo or guns had to be out of reach. Like ammo on passenger seat guns in the trunk. or in my case with an SUV ammo on front seat guns in the back where the hatch is.
  8. If you were planning on doing it all in one day its like 6-8 per gun and you could probably tell with less than 50 through each if you liked it. If you really dont like it you can tell in the first mag. If you really like it you can tell in the first mag too though.
  9. What part of dayton I could very well help?
  10. There are three kinds of Pistols.. Fixed barrel (ie Desert Eagle) where the barrel never moves. Tilting barrel (most pistols fall here) where when the slide is cocked or a round is fired the end of the barrel tilts up to allow a easier angle for the next bullet to slide into the barrel And Now the Storm which is the only pistol I know of with a rotating barrel. It works on a cam system and the barrel itself actually rotates about a 1/4 turn when the slide moves rearward. and tilts up. This does also helps with recoil management as it takes effort to rotate the barrel. I think what you are confused with Sparky is Barrel Rifling. which spins the bullet as it moves through the barrel.
  11. O and the Subcompact PX4 storm doesnt have the rotating barrel like the compact and full size. Id go with a Compact if you choose a Storm.
  12. I'd say youre at a good starting point with 9mm. Thats really the hardest part of picking a gun for me. Id say go with a Taurus 709 or Millenium Pro 9mm they are small enough to carry but big enough to shoot at the range frequently. It has a larger grip so your whole hand can fit on the grip. Important to me. I carry a Taurus 738. Its too small to make it an only gun but a great warm weather CCW gun. They can both be had for about $375. Im a Taurus advocate but they are inexpensive, quality guns. There are a lot of great carry guns out there I would love to have a Sig Sauer 238 but they are about $500..

  15. I think I agree with gen3. I watched it a couple times and it seems like when the shuffling was all done that the one with his phone in it was the one closest to him which would make it 1......?

  17. Anyone have any suggestions? Ones they have actually tried, friends tried. whatever. Looking at Peltors or Howard Leight..
  18. There is nothing more I hate in this world than rapists and thieves. If my girlfriend, mother, sister, ever got raped I would hunt them down and kill them without a doubt. If they went to jail I would be waiting when they got out. This shit pisses me off!! This is why I carry.
  19. Would have got the family in the car rolled the windows up and Roasted the tires till she left or the blew!! the kids would have loved it.

  22. Ive never had any problems with Joes always great customer service. Plus they are cheaper..
  23. First Track day I ever did was a cruiser day. only had one guy show up on a harley but they ran the short course and had him in the slow novice group. didn't seem to hold anyone up. the short course was good for a first day because you didn't have to break from 140 into turn 5 (or 6 whatever it is).
  24. are you saying adjustable from 3-9? 300 yards is way out for a 22. if bullet drop is already 5-6" when going from 50 yards to 100, how much would that be at 300 yards? 5-6 feet..
