  1. i've never been pulled over for less than 68 in a 55... I've been pulled over a lot, most of mine are 79 in 55
  2. you've been correctly informed
  3. i like to kick it sideways at $1.85, so i'm immune to the police
  4. thats ok, he has airbags... sort of, in case of a wreck...
  5. It's not the state's job to be your child's nanny... that child is your property for all intensive purposes, you are responsible for any monetary damages your child incurs, you're responsible for that child's welfare... the state should stay out of it. Otherwise, we could go the wrong way and make a long list of things children should be protected from that their parents might expose them to... the sun: can't go outside, that's just dangerous, might get skin cancer automobiles: thousands die every year in automobile accidents motorcycle racing: dangerous pointless sport atv's: kids die every year on those things swimming pools: tons of kids drown religion: emotional distress and suicide are often results of religious pressure guns: how many children are killed because they got ahold of daddys gun when he wasn't paying attention? puppies: how many kids die every year from dog attacks? bathtubs, more drowning Any electrical toy: could malfunction and electrocute them the list can go on and on and on, and it's all the same bullshit. Let good parents be good parents let bad parents be bad parents, they decided to reproduce, it's their responsibility...period yeah, cause going for a ride on your dad's motorcycle is exactly the same as being shot by some cowboy wannabe.now if I ever had children, would I take such a chance? Nope, not on the street...(barring any unforseen circumstances that would require such an action) But who do you think you are telling someone else what they can and can't do with their own child? and at what point can we tell you what to do with yours?
  6. is that route 9? you were talking it up quite a bit last weekend
  7. Ahh, I thought resale value came into play when "turning in" your lease... apparently it's only vehicle condition and miles...
  8. chagrin river road... hard to beat in the area.
  9. i undertood, I was just pointing out how ludicrous that is.
  10. good: you buy new cars often, and trade in the old one every couple/few years you drive fewer than average miles per year you don't modify your car too much you are statistically a good driver (not having lots of minor dings scratches, etc) bad: you like to mod your cars you drive a lot of miles you keep cars a long time you normally buy used do your own maintenance personally I don't see it being a good fit for you, you're going to get hosed as soon as you pull of the lot regardless, i think you should stick to finding smoking deals on used ones, you're good at it.
  11. according to the state, sure... according to them my little buggy is a 1968 beetle. (most of that original vehicle went to a junkyard in 1987.) motorcycle don't mind the rest of it, those are just parts
  12. those are expensive ottomans, and an odd location to lay down for a rest.
  13. wgas? It's his kid, it's his problem. yeah, that'll be better for the kid, not having a father... he is, but they are stupid laws regarding age restrictions for helmets, and PPE this. it's 18... under 18 you must wear a helmet on a motorcycle regardless of the license class of the operator... It's still a stupid law, it's his kid, it's his responsibility, it's his problem.

It's like a baby blackbird... and probably the bike I would've gotten if I didn't get the one I got.
  15. if it was never totalled for insurance, the title would still be clear... regardless of how many times it's been down. Also you could get a "clear" title by using a frame from another motorcycle, and putting all your wrecked parts on it... this is why the whole "clear title" business never meant much to me, as long as it's a "legal" title, then it is good with me. beyond that you just have to go with the condition of the bike
  16. great reminder! keep your eyes peeled everyone, we don't want you to get tickets (though we will laugh at you if you do) but we definitely don't want you guys getting hurt out there, between parades, oblivious drivers, and the ones who are "celebrating" and driving, it's best to be on your game, paying attention, and anticipating stupidity (there is no shortage of it out there)
  17. sent the link to a friend...
  18. guns are the same as religion in my mind, maybe a little worse because they are actual physical objects, not just thoughts, words and emotions... I have no respect for your gun or your religion, I have respect for your right to have them, as long as you don't attack me with them or use them to deny other people their rights. unmanly or immoral, I make no such judgements

  20. is this what they mean when they say "i had to lay it down to keep from wrecking"?
  21. you can't speculate that the black man might have been wrongfully approached attacked and killed, or else you have a political agenda and you're racist. assuming that the dead black guy got what's coming to him, and any other possible scenario is an attack on your second amendment rights, no agenda, no racism... something seems backwards here...
  22. one small scratch on one knuckle...does not constitute "injuries" it barely constitutes "injury"
  23. Hey, he said it... it must be true, this country had no race issues before obama...
  24. Whether it is useful in nature isn't exactly relevent, whether it exists in nature was the issue, and it does, so it is in fact "natural" as demonstrated in the book "biological exuberance" Did anyone see that story about the rugby player who had his sexuality altered by a stroke? Was completely heterosexual, engaged, rugby player, had a stroke and is now a homosexual hairdresser...
