once we figure out who all is interested, we can figure out times for meet spots, but we would be roughly an hour and 1/2 from lodi from our "kickstand up" time in austinburg if we aren't picking anyone up in cleveland.

Traffic does play into it off the freeway. You can get popped on a 2 lane road if traffic is "congested"... at the officer's discretion of course.

why bother? it's too hard, you'll never make it... just keep your bike all shiny and pretty and clean in your garage, why rack up miles making it dirty? it's too hot to ride most of the summer anyway, and too cold the rest of the time. when the weather is perfect you would rather be out riding on a boat somewhere anyway....

depends on how far northeast everyone is... I was planning on meeting tim and other FAR noreasters at flying J, then rolling west to pick up the clevelanders somewhere else... Likwid want to suggest a spot? Then we can decide from there.... also once we get the meet spots figured out, we can plan a "kickstand up" leave time for each spot, calculating back from hitting the columbus meat spot 1/2 hour early. looking like somewhere between 3 and 4 hours, so we will probably be kickstands up in austinburg @ 5, then hit a spot in cleveland, kickstands up at 6, etc... somewhere near ashland to pick up northwesters? kickstands up 730 we should roll into columbus meat spot @ 9

Stopped to see wayde today, he seems to be good considering the circumstances. Turns out he was only a few miles from work when the deer jumped out in his lane... gave it all the brakes he could, but hit the deer and killed it instantly. Steel toe boots nearly ripped off his big toe nail, and the helmet has a big long scrape from the chin bar going across the face shield. He's got some broken ribs and he can't move so well right now, but he's home and resting up for his doctor ordered 2 week minimum vaycay. Thanks for all the positive thoughts, warm wishes, and prayers.
