  1. I'd be there, but I should be almost to georgia by then.
  2. Do NOT buy this crap... It did NOT dissolve any grease, it just covered the grease in soap bubbles, and not even very good soap. Dawn Dishwashing detergent was more effective than this stuff. For the really thick grease and grime (like the gobs of crap found on the inside of the drive sprocket case on a 9 yr old bike) The most effective thing I found was 87 octane gasoline. A small spray bottle full and a rattle paintcan capfull with a toothbrush are effective application methods. It did dissolve the grease very effectively, but obviously there are precautions you should take when using gasoline as a cleaner.
  3. Only downside I see is no snell... and that would be a dealbreaker for me.
  4. I never played the drinking and driving game...it was never worth the risk to me.
  5. I dunno mang, I got a pretty big head, and I can fit (the right) shades into my shoei no problem. I like the clear sheild/sunglass combo.

I prefer the showt wimminz, under 5'2" FTW
  7. Again, MOMENTUM is more important than speed. If we wreck, we're only really putting ourselves in danger. The effect of our limited mass means that we won't even compare in collateral damage until the high triple digits.

    well stated sweetie...
  9. 150 is pretty quick, i was doing about that when i zipped by likwid after the april group ride
  10. Haven't any of these idiots heard of momentum? a sport bike doing 150 exerts less force than a ford focus doing 35 mph... and less than an explorer SUV doing 20 Even if the sport bike winds up to 200 mph, he's creating a force less than 1/4 that of a hummer h2 doing 65 mph. I made a simple table, units would be ton miles per hour, but that's not important, what's important is the force ratios from sport bikes at speed vs other vehicles. just as a reference I used, my sport bike, a ford focus, explorer, f150, f350, h2, peterbilt, and peterbilt with load. rough numbers linear momentum.

    Don't you mean ninjanurse?
  12. Oh I totally understand what you're saying, there is more to it than that, but my point was that a fully loaded semi with a half paralyzed driver would have no problem making a curve at the state reccomended speed. Obviously a corvette or a lotus could make the corner much faster than most of the commuter cars that those signs are posted for.
  13. hey another pataskala chick! do you know ScrappyGirl and KhaoticRebel?
  14. Sniper... wait til you have 10 seconds left, THEN bid the most you are willing to pay +3 cents (if you're looking at spending 100, make it 100.03) That way nobody has time to bid against you after the fact, and if someone already bid your $100 you won by 3 cents. edit: LOL john plays the same way I do.
  15. What a load of bullshit... "the suggested speed is 25" well dumbass, thats for "cars". Do none of these reporters understand inertia? A sport bike can handle curves at a higher speed than your effing news van cause it's lighter, and it can lean into the curve.
  16. oooh, tempting...ish If i ever considered trading off the XX for another sport bike, this one would be towards the top of the list.
  17. LOL, it's a R6, strap it to the roof...
  18. the road from kingman to vegas was amazing at night, wide open, no leo presence AT ALL, just me, the XX, and long sweeper after long sweeper.
