    hi

others have started a new thread with a title like, "free beer and pizza for you" then in the thread you add the stipulation "if you come over and show me how to change my oil"
  8. yeah, I'm extra careful when setting mine up... push the centerstand peg down, then rock it a little to make sure both feet are touching, then pop it up.
  9. I <3 my center stand, and use it ALOT, but I've never done that...
  10. yay, i have a future in engineering design... lol
  11. anything ever come out of this? I just got latitude on my droid.
  12. 2001 CBR1100XX mods: Corbin GFL, Akro carbon fiber exhaust, pc3, +1 front sprocket, zero gravity double bubble, custom undertail, rapid transit tank bag, stereo. Likes: 1. Unique, not everyone even knows what it is, let alone seen many of them. 2. Honda reliable, only real maintenence has been consumables (chain, tires, fluids, fuel, brakes) 3. Comfy, I've done 30 hours with only fuel stops, no back/butt pain. 4. Handles surprisingly well for a big pig. 5. POWER, pulls like a freight train after 6000 rpm. 6. Digital gauges, analog tach, very well done. 7. Affordable, only cost me $5500 2 years ago 8. Great 2-up, passengers are barely noticeable, and many have remarked on it's comfort. Dislikes... 1. Noisy CCT. (easily replaced with $35 and 2 bolts.) 2. Heavy to maneuver by hand 3. Low resale (as if I'd ever sell it) 4. A little tall, I'm only 5'9"
  13. if you take a plate number to the DMV, and pay them $5 they will give you the name and address of the registered owner.
  14. Actually I was thinking patio
  15. thanks, it's actually dad's, he gave $1600 for it last year. Owner didn't know anything about it, she said it used to run but she couldn't get it started, and needed it moved, dad purchased it not knowing what was wrong with it...new starter and it fired up and purred like a kitten. I installed a stereo in it for him, and we changed the fenders over. new bumpers and running boards this weekend. I'll be sure to pass your compliments along.

    Whoo! Morning ladies...colt 45 and...
  17. True, you never know who will or won't show up, its a crap shoot. Btw, as far as I'm concerned this is a shine only event. I don't want to be hitting any crazy coshocton roads in the rain.
  18. my thought was simple, meet up somewhere between QSL and Peninsula maybe, ride down to roscoe together, then ask one of the locals (maybe greg, parks, or kawi) to help us out with some nice roads for an hour or 2, eat, and then head back...
  19. Everything blends in that thing... never seen anything beat it
