  3. an experiment in ohio riders that ended.
  4. also hate the mandate, and I'm not familiar enough with the bill to say "I'm onboard" but what I've read so far makes sense... and I'm sure multi millionaires are worried about the cost of health coverage:rolleyes:
  5. party ballots allow you to vote in respective primaries. that's the only difference I'm aware of.
  6. i like wrillo's suggestion. but consistency is key. IF you said it, you better follow your word.
  7. if 400 is nice, why not go straight to 440 and be done with it? might not even need a kickstand http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/shop/productDetail.php?itemId=3188
  8. this is my big problem with equating it to auto insurance. if you own your vehicle, you are required to carry liability, this covers people who may be damaged by your vehicle. There is no law requiring you to carry comprehensive, or collision insurance on your own vehicle. (unless it is financed, but that's mandated by the company that bought your car for you) where is the health insurance equivalent to "liability"? edit: justin beat me to it...
  9. As stated before Louder =/= Better Loud pipes save no lives... GEAR saves lives, Alertness saves lives, skill and experience saves lives. My akra pipe on the XX is not LOUD by any means but it is loud enough. If you want people to hear you coming, add a megaphone to the front.
  10. I've already stated my opposition to that clause, I don't approve of it at all...However, everything else I've read of the 2409 pages makes sense... and almost all of the "doomsday" talk (that I've read so far) is either completely false, completely hypothetical, or personal attacks on obama that have nothing to do with the bill at all.
  11. I'm not looking forward to the ruckus this will cause on the RODO site...let's go see.
  12. looks like all the fun is going on over here http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=55703... could we have these merged?
  13. snoped, and frauded... http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/frazer.asp I meant what "choices" specifically... IE she used to be able to buy from Antherm BCBS, Assurant, or CIGNA, and NOW she has to buy from X or whatever her exact situation was.
  14. aside from subtitle F part 1 (as listed in the other thread on this subject) I am a fan of the bill... it makes a LOT of sense.
  15. I DON'T like subtitle F part 1 Especially since someone can claim "religious objection" to health coverage... wait a sec ...looks like I found my loophole. Ðuaneism is now my official religion and opposes health coverage unless provided by an employer. Other than this, I think the bill is pretty good.
  16. yeah, cause insurance companies should have the right to deny you coverage for a pre-existing condition, and raise your rates when you get sick... teh end of teh woorrld! btw has it passed the senate? or just the house?
