  1. Those tools are fairly cheap at Harbor Freight. And it's really not hard at all the tool comes with complete instuctions./quote]

    Thanks.

If all the tool does is spread the rivet out I can modify a c-clamp to do it (saw it on youtube).

I'm going to go work on it now, hopefully things go smooth.

  2. Anyone near Pickerington want to lend me a hand?

I need to replace my chain and sprockets and this will be a new experience for me. It doesn't seem too difficult but I would prefer to have someone who has done it before give me a hand so I don't jack anything up.

I should also mention that I don't have a chain break tool or a rivet press (I think a c-clamp would work???).

I do have all the hand tools needed.

If anyone has a couple of hours to spare later this afternoon to play instructor/mechanic I'd appreciate it greatly.

I live off of Refugee near 256.

    Thanks

  3. I had to go out of town for work in S.F. but it turned out to be nothing I thought it would be. I spent more time on "business" lunches and trips to Napa Valley for wine than actual "work". Instead of flying back to Ohio at the end of the week I took a flight to L.A. to meet up with some friends who I haven't seen in years. They hooked me up with a GSXR and gear and set me loose up the mountains and then to the beach.

    Enjoy the view!

These are from my ride through the San Bernadino mountains.

  4. Nice to know another buckeye is in the neighborhood! I was in Benicia and S.F. till Friday, now I'm down in Chino till Monday. Today I spent the day riding the mountains of San Bernadino! I'm just winging it out here, no plans really. Thinking about downtown L.A. tomorrow. Pics to come...

  5. Any reason you decided to go from country to suburbia?

    Few reasons.

Kids want a neighborhood so they can play with someone other than each other.

I am burned out doing hours and hours of yard work.

Sick of digging out after every snow fall.

Mostly I think we are just due for a change.

  6. After nearly 12 months on the market our house is contract and closing March 30th. We are trading the country life for one in suburbia.

We are buying a house in Pickerington right off Refugee rd.

It will be a welcome change.

  7. What are you looking to get out of the Taurus 65?

    $275 obo.

I still have everything that came with it. It has probably fired about 300 rounds.

Only 50 of them were .357 magnum, the rest were 38 target load.

  8. If interested, I have a Taurus 65 4 inch barrel, blue. -.357 magnum.

+Ammo. It will shoot 38 Special or 357 magnum. I wanted to trade it in for a semi-auto but I will get burned on the trade in.

There is a picture of it on here, somewhere, when I posted a feeler for it.

It's fun to shoot and accurate.

  9. When is a free tv not free? When it stops working and needs to be fixed.

It was given to me a few months ago and worked for about 2 weeks and the picture went stupid. It appears to be scrambled. I thought I would spend the time and replace the hyper module board (as this is the common downfall on this type of tv and the most likely culprit) but I don't really have the time to monkey with it.

It does have a DVI input if you wish to use a media pc to run it. The dvi bypasses the hyper module board.

If anyone wants it you are welcome to it. Tomorrow it is going on CL.

I am also giving away two sofas, 92" long.

My house is going back on the market and I need this stuff gone.

I don't have a truck or know anybody with one so you are on your own as far as moving this stuff.

I live in Sunbury, 5 miles from I-71.

  10. True story. Ever thought about where your body goes when you donate it to science. It doesn't always end up on a table for a bunch of students to dissect.

Apparently there is a need to test NASA's new space suit for impact! What better way then to stuff a human corpse in it.

Had to share that strange but true story. I read this off the order requisition for a cadaver test panel. I guess NASA wanted to make sure he was free from Hepatitis and HIV before they began to beat the hell out of him.

Impact testing? Push him out the door at 50mph?

I can almost picture it as a "mascot" sitting in their break room.

    WTF?

  11. whats your asking price? that would be nice addition to my .38 spl 85

and i just sold my ak47.. at least my father has it and i know i'll get it back someday.

here she is with the evil step child.

    (gotta love gun porn)

Nice! Worthy of a second look.

I got a screaming deal on this at $75 off of MSRP $450.

I'll let it go for $350 with ammo. The holster was just bought for $30 if interested.

  12. Just a feeler to see if there is any interest in buying my .357 Magnum. Its a Taurus 65 that was bought new in 2004 (paid $375) and has only fired about 200 rounds. I'm considering a smaller semi-auto for my carry piece and could use the cash for the buy.

Not taking offers on the AK47.

    >>sorry for the gun overload but the only other picture I have is the one with me standing in front of the mirror in my boxer briefs acting out the scene in Taxi Driver. "You talking to me? Are you talking to me? You must be, I'm the only one here!"

    >>and I'm saving that for the girls....

  13. Supposedly, the license rates are going to increase from $55 to $67 any day now. Delaware county is currently holding off the increase at least through next week. If anyone plans on filing their application make sure you get an appointment on the books soon and verify the $55 fee.

Now you have $12 in your pocket to put towards some ammo.

  14. I just pulled it out. It's either cracked or the silver paint they painted it with is cracked. I 'll take a pic in a little while. It's more in the middle of the stand and not on the weld at all.

This may work out better getting one already shortened. I was going to buy another one at stock length to keep if/when the wife gives up and lets me have the 650 back.

    price?
