Splitting traffic in California was SOOOOOO freaking awesome! You had to be extreamly carefull, but it beats your bike overheating. (Because traffic is moving JUST fast enough to keep you from cutting your bike off)

I use a couple of those neon LED ropes around my bike. It looks like an UFO riding down the street. I also wear a LED t-shirt.

Why do I find these threads once they are like 10 pages long?

People use them for training, such as how to clear a double feed. Remember that there are people who shouldn't handle guns that are going to some of these CCW classes. They have to train them somehow.

I can appreciate your point of view. Not everyone feels the same way I do. That is ok. Yes, you are absolutely right... It could have ended ugly no matter how prepared I was. That is the path that I chose. I chose that path reguardless of what the outcome was. Some people say that riding a motorcycle is stupid and you take a chance with death every day. I believe it's the same thing. Would I recommend my course of action to the rest of OR? I wouldn't recommend anything to anyone. "You do you and I'll do me." If you don't believe that was the best option, I can respect that. That is the option I chose.

It's such a shame. I was riding in downtown Fairborn and the light was green for a good bit. (I was about 200 feet away from the intersection) Next thing I know, a car come driving through it, like their light was green. Even when mine is green, I always look to see if someone doesn't look like they are going to stop.
