  1. You want to use a dry chemical cleaner. The wet cleaners that use soap only attract more dirt later...
  2. following format... http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2006models/2006-Honda-Interceptorc-small.jpg
  3. I think NurkVinny or someone has a 919 for sale.. I would give the interceptors (VFR) a good look. They are very technologically advanced. ABS, VTEC, etc. Here is an article about a 2002. http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/146_0204_int/ Dont rule out goldwings either. Anymore they are very nice, and geared more for twisties than ever.
  4. This is more of a feeler to see if anyone on here would be remotely interested in a sugar glider... If you have no clue, go here: http://www.sugar-gliders.com/ These are not for kids, as they do have semi-sharp nails and bite sometimes. I will not sell these to just anyone... You have to know what they are, how to care for them, diet, etc. before I will sell one to you. We are starting to get too many (8 ) and these things are expensive to neuter, so the money would go toward that. The price will probably be $150 per glider, as of now we are thinking of selling one boy and one girl. If you may be interested, post or PM me.
  5. Dropped my head off at M&M last week.... still waiting on the evaluation results and I was told they would get to it friday. They do good work, but the shop is a hole-in-the-wall and you cant be in a hurry. Also make sure you keep track of what is on your head when you take it in, in case they need to remove something and forget to put it back. Nice honest people though, and that wins my business every time.
  6. winter does that, my skin gets really dry. Shaving after a shower helps a lot. (instead of before).
  7. The difference between the mach 3 and mach 3 turbo is amazing. A normal mach3 actually hurts my skin now that I am used to the turbo. M3 power was a joke, glad I didnt pay money for it. It does work as a vibrator for the ladies though May have to try the new one now.... although $3/blade is getting up there....
  8. Here is a pretty nice compilation of bike 1/4 times: http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/146_perf_nums/
  9. Oh, so he is going to be Rossi's replacement when Vale goes to F1!
  10. I would hope a set of shocks, starter clutch and valve adjustment wouldn't cost $800+. That said, a bike that starts will be worth $500, but one that won't, won't.
  11. Looks good, Im in hilliard too so if you need some help just holler. Did you ever get that yzf? want that stunt sprocket yet?
  12. Fix it, then decide whether or not to keep it. Shouldnt cost you much in repairs, and you will be able to sell it for more once its fixed anyway.
  13. :grin2: Muthapucka: If you can push a stock 600 to 9 second passes, and you are the best rider "here" (on CR or what?) then I should start riding with you, I guess I could learn a lot. So you are in WERA.. North Central I am guessing. What are your times for Ledges, Mid-Ohio, and Grattan? As for the original question: Sure you can start on a 600 or even a liter bike if you have a brain. But remember accidents happen, and people make mistakes. The smaller bikes will be a lot more forgiving should you make a mistake. The ideal path would be to get a kawi 250 and ride the shit out of it for a year or two. Then progressively move up. Your learning curve will be a lot faster than just hopping on a 1000. Whatever you get, ride like everyone else is trying to kill you and have fun.
  14. http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/ You want the basic rider course. The deleware course is at the joint vocational center off of RT. 23 I believe.
  15. When I ever get around to building bikes, my first will probably be a kit. you can look at some here: http://www.thehogfarm.net/kitbikes.htm I have always wanted to pick up a 60s harley, and restore it, just keep an eye on the classifieds for those.
  16. cool, I had no idea. What 600s are these again? I guess from a stop the bike should have it pretty easy, but from a roll, these modded Z06s come to mind, and I would think a 600 would have a tough time keeping up after 100mph.
  17. is You really think the R6 is the bike squids adopt most? R6s have never been well filled out in the low range. The first gens had a wicked spike around 10K, but when it kicks in you better hold on. The whole scenario about the rev issue is disappointing, but most street riders wouldnt take full advantage of those extra spins anyway. If you really want to rev to 17.5K, just buy the race kit ECU. plug, play, done. Its still a hell of a bike, and I didnt hear the slipper clutch was a false claim yet.
  18. nice scooter, must suck making the decision on what to ride... So what is done to it that it is ready for a Z06?
  19. buydig.com has some good deals on the d50 for with the kit lens and with a 200mm zoom which would be very nice for a cruise. (shooting from the ship). In fact I would go with at least a 200mm zoom in addition to the kit. The D50 is a highly recommended entry-level DSLR camera. I am a canon person myself (for now anyway). If you plan on using it in a few months, you better hurry up and buy it so you can learn how to use it. The DSLR world is a whole lot different from the point-and-shoot simplicity. Plan on photoshop becoming your best friend, as most of the decent DSLR shots require a bit of post-processing; they just dont pop out as a finished product. Really any DSLR camera will be a step above your P&S, only limited by your ability to use it.
  20. I got a big ass vortex rear sprocket laying in my closet for that yzf. I'll cut you a deal on it, its still in the package. 53 tooth, I believe.
  21. where does one get dell certified? The liights on the battery are just indicators of the percent of charge. If no lights are on, it needs recharged. If the battery is dead, perhaps the power supply is not cranking out enough juice to run the laptop. If you can work a multimeter, check the output. If there is a button battery on the motherboard (under the keyboard) for the bios, pull it for a few seconds, then replace it and see if that helps at all. Service manuals for dells are available through dell.com to view as PDF docs.
