  1. As long as you got the correct pitch sprockets (520/530/etc.) to match your chain, you dont HAVE to.
  2. what size is your front sprocket? You really shouldnt go smaller than 15 on the front... 1 down in the front is like 2-3 up on the rear. Most will probably suggest 1 down, 2 up for a 600, but that all depends on your bike and what you want it to do. Remember the more you go up on the rear (or down in front), the lower your top speed will be. But the acceleration is much better. Ask yourself how do you want it to perform, compared to stock... You want a hardened steel front sprocket, and an aluminum rear. Be sure to get a new lock washer for the front sprocket nut as well. You should replace sprockets and chains at the same time, as a new/old combo will wear the new part out faster. Since you will be getting a new chain and sprockets, consider getting a 520 conversion... The chain is lighter than OEM, but still plenty strong. Go with an O-ring, or X-ring chain. I recommend only a rivet style master link. Of course, if you get a 520 chain, be sure you get 520 sprockets. or you could sell me the gift card for $50.
  3. funny thing is, my buddy has a drag bike, and the rear tire is about that wide
  4. you're not going offroad, ditch the 4runner. you want decent mileage, ditch the Expedition.
  5. would your dog fit in a CRV? much more economical as far as fuel is concerned, and rides like a car. If you are stuck on the infinity, it should be fine for what you need. The tranny issues on the pathfinders were caused by overheating... The tranny cooler was an integral part of the radiator. Inside there is a tiny screen. Over time the screen becomes clogged, starving the tranny of oil, so if you get the auto it may be a good idea to put an external cooler like a hayden on it. (if the qx4 has the same setup.) The afore mentioned ignition problems were also common on the pathfinders. the exhaust manifold/studs have a tendency to crack on those 3.3L V6, and repairs are extensive since the studs usually break when trying to replace them.
  6. so it is still leaking? check the plastic inline filter under the tank. It may be cracked.
  7. Posting this for a friend, this is all I know: 4 door. Auto. A/C, pwr. windows/locks, keyless entry. cd player. 92,400mi. have maint. records. $3000. call: 614-326-1675 DO NOT PM OR EMAIL ME. CALL FOR MORE INFO. NOT MY CAR. http://img286.imageshack.us/img286/7126/sarasauto9kc.png
  8. What do you want out of it? Haul groceries around 270? I know it is the infinity version of the pathfinder, which is a great SUV. (older ones anyway... new are unibody) I would buy a Nissan Xterra instead. Its a true "Sport Utility Vehicle": More space, lighter, more power, and its actually on a truck frame. Has a manual transfer case with 4hi and 4lo instead of realtime AWD. PM me if you want to buy mine Or maybe look at pathfinders if you dont want the ruggedness of an xterra. In the event something should break, Infinity repair costs are more than Nissan, right?
  9. That really blows. At least you came out of it mostly OK. You really should file a report... What if someone behind the car that hit you saw the accident happen? Maybe they chose to chase the vehicle rather than stop and help you. If they got a plate number and called it in, they still wouldnt know who the bike was. If you call in making your report that you were at that place and time when you were hit, then they have a complete case. doubtful, but worth a shot.
  10. Is it "hot magenta pink" or someshit like that?
  11. Is this the same vehicle as the last 4 times you posted it? http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18212 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16596 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11278 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16004
  12. or you just turned the petcock off and thought you turned it on...
  13. damn, hope you never have to drive on an unlit road. why not buy those old school blackout headlight covers so you can pop them off if need be?

  17. One Goodyear Eagle GA tire. It is plugged in one spot. However, the tread is brand new, has the little nipples on it still. The tire was punctured while at a dealership, so it was replaced before the car was even driven. can email pics. $25 obo. ?
  18. Sorry for the potentially worthless reply, but if I was in your shoes, I would spend the money upgrading the front brakes. Rotors, pads, SS lines, perhaps bigger calipers and quality fluid flush. Seems to me the money would be better invested that way, it would definitely stop better. (unless of course that is already done)
  19. ZoopSeal. Anyone use it? http://www.zoopseal.com/zoopseal.asp Its damn pricey at $100 for the cheapest kit, but it would probably be worth it provided all claims are true. Maybe we could get a few members together and split the stuff.
  20. very rare indeed, and it looks clean. It would probably pull a premium on ebay.
