  1. I'd say it's not a virus/adware/spyware, just shit under the keys or crappy keyboard design (it is a Compaq )
  2. back to the roof thing - when were the wind storms? Doing some searching, it looks like Feb 11 and 12, 2009 (did have the house) and Sept 15, 2008 (didn't have the house, but it sounds like this was the really bad one). I'm like 90% sure that I had the house during the really bad wind storm because I was worried about the siding coming off like I saw in some houses in the area.... hmmm....

  12. Yeah, I'd imagine is transfers a little more weight to the front so you don't pick it up as easily.

  14. holy crap. how did she even get on it? theres seriously a weight limit and on a 600rr, that's way over! surprised the suspension isnt so compressed that the rear wheel isn't rubbing or the subframe doesnt just snap off for that matter!
  15. I have questions about your VFR. Seems like you and your wife traveled alot on that thing and while its classified as a "sport touring" bike, it just doesn't look like it would be THAT much more comfortable than a sport bike. Do you need to do alot of mods to it to make it 2up long distance friendly? Corbin seats? Your tailcase rail mount for your wife to sit comfortably? Higher clipons?
  16. Yeah, I'll work on that. It's not quite what I imagined as far as color choice (I have a hard time with that - hence this thread) but still not bad at all. Much better than it was.
  17. FYI for any other CBR600RRs out there, I went with the traditional -1/+2 and correction ratio of -12.4% was spot on with another bike next to me. I realize their speedo is probably off too but I had no other way to calibrate it and as long as I'm seeing on my speedo what the rest of traffic is seeing on theirs, I'm happy. Once it lost it's configuration once though. I'm not sure what happened, I don't think I pulled the battery at any point but I'll be watching...
  18. Just a follow up. Had Jason (wnaplay) and his team paint the house and they did an awesome, awesome job. Went above and beyond, wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

  21. It was pretty good, I mean, I bought 2 of them! It's definitely different compared to modern bikes, but nothing to complain about.
