9/10 the one guy was both kinda unfair...

I started on a 250, and its very love hate...while i love riding and knowing that i dont really need more power to learn riding...i do get 'bored' with the 250 and highway travel is sort of a pita cause im always a few mph from topping out which is scary if i need to speed up to get out of a hairy situation. So my advice to you is if you can afford to get a 250 and 600 in a year or when ever you feel the need to upgrade. Do that. If youre tight financially skip the 250 and invest in a bike you can ride for a long time. As far as people telling you you will kill yourself, i always respond that atleast ill die happy...and if i know them well enough i make fun of them for just being too afraid to ride themselves and just being jealous of the fact im doin it and they arent.

The best part is your using a data based phone without a data plan...

excessive sliding to show off doesn't produce fast lap times, but backing the bike in on slower turns like hairpins sets up the bike to point towards corner exit sooner which allows you to get on the throttle sooner.

at least that's how I understand it.

Thats correct the idea is to have the bike pointing out of the corner before it really should be, its an old dirt riding trick...hence his ability to do it so effortlessly

When i got my bike i decided on a zero tolerance policy, i knew if i okay 1 beer with dinner id okay 2 with the friends then okay 4 at the bar till it was out of hand.

Just played a new course for me, Pike Lake, in Bainbridge, awesome course.

Just played Great Seal and OUC today, both fun courses but Great Seal is a blast.

I play here in lancaster all the time at Keller-Kern park aka Flat Rocks.

Yeah i didnt know the scoring system until i failed but what happened is i missed a cone put a foot down and missed the uturn aka 11 points. Now that i know that you can fubar the cones thats my "plan" next time, i practice several times before and had no problem with the u turn i guess it was just nerves from completely ruining the cone swerve.

Went out this Thursday and failed. Got 11 points on the cone swerve section. Trying again on the 14th.

Too lazy to read the thread but consider plan prices and such as well, like mentioned the iPhoneOS 3.0 is coming and it adds compy and paste, tethering (which verizon will never do), landscape keyboard, and mms. I was with verizon for 6 years and just swtiched to ATT to get an iphone so i dont hate either company the iPhone is just superior hardware.

Already signed up for MSF but I didnt sign up till the 4th (yeah of feb 2 days after it opened) so i dont get classes till June and i want to get the endorsement before that so the g/f can ride with me. Since its free i figured i would go to the BMV and do it.

Is there a certain date when the BMV starts accepting appointments for the on cycle test?

So its coming up on spring and the new g/f likes to ride, i want to get her a nice helmet, i have a Scorpion EXO-700, im looking for something in the same price range so no Shoei or anything what are some good midrange helmets brands(like Scorpion).
