  1. Shell and Sunoco are the two highest rated gas companies widely availible in Ohio, seeing as all the Sunocos in Lancaster closed, I run Shell.
  2. How do the sensors work? What triggers the airbag? I'm just wondering if like a nasty pothole could set it off and send you flying off the bike?
  3. I tightened my steering bearing the other day, but dont have the wrench to put it to torque specs so its loose again.
  4. Your Ohio driver abstract spans the previous two-year period. License Status as of 04/08/2010: VALID ENDORSEMENTS: MOTORCYCLE RESTRICTIONS: NONE ***END OF DRIVER RECORDS*** But i knew that. Out of the i think 11 (iirc) times ive been pulled over i only got 1 ticket but that was 5 years ago.
  5. You know i never had much of a problem with it, until i read this thread, i had to run two red lights tonight because there was no traffic and they just werent seeing me.
  6. Actually I didnt go out much sunday, got a good ride in today, I am in love. NightRider, I almost stopped by today on my way home to say hi. Im sure next time i see your truck there I'll stop in.
  7. As some one who just left the 250 world i can say that a 600 is a big difference but seeing as the OP rode the 250 so long they seem like a very level headed rider and would be just fine riding on a 600. I bought a R6 as my second bike, 2 days ago and i can barely remember my ninja lol. Like every one said find one that is comfortable to you because anyting over a 250 will be an improvement as far as power goes. Maybe the R6 was a bit much to jump straight into but I'm very happy with it. Out of the bikes posted by the OP I'd be all over the CBR, I have yet to meet a disgruntled CBR owner. I'm not sure of everyones opinions on them but i have a buddy who loves his SV650 so that may be an option to consider on the 'naked' side of things. What ever you do get i guarantee you wont miss that ninja after the first mile
  8. Finally moved up from my 250 training wheels and picked up an '03 R6. All I can is wow...shouldve done this a long time ago.
  9. Yeah i rode up 70 from dayton to columbus in the midst of the wind. First ride on a 600 and 50mph wind gust. no thanks.
  10. Keep it up I just sold my ninja on CL.
  11. Yeah, sold her last night, got my last ride delivering it to the guys house. Yeah, I'm getting the loan today and hopefully picking it up tonight if it stops raining if not I dunno when I'l get it.

  12. Yeah I gotta say having just 6000 miles ive ridden in the rain several times, long as you're covered up and can keep your visor clear it is an experience. Although my first ride in the rain was probably a bad idea since it was pouring down low visibility and i got in a fight with the gf and took off down 71 fast as my lil 250 could carry me. But it helped me conquer that fear.
  13. Okay you guys broke my spirit, $2500 takes it home.
  14. Yeah tryin to get rid of right now, tryin to buy V4junkies R6.

  15. Haha yeah that was me. I meant to message you on here and ask if that bike outside was yours. I wasnt sure if that was you or not or i wouldve stopped and introduced myself.

  16. Yeah, i looked at trading it in before selling and thats the number they gave me, so if they are giving me $2800 they are gonna want atleast $3000 for it plus the taxes the buyer would pay putting it back up to $3500 again. I feel that $3000 is a fair price all things considered.
  17. I'll do $2800 but seeing as thats the trade in value Im not going much lower.
  18. Someone take this from me, throw me some offers.
  19. Sorry if it seemed that way, I'm taking offers on it.
  20. Okay bumping this from the grave. Taking reasonable offers. I know what the bikes worth. Just under 6k miles now. Has a 1/4" long scratch on the left fairing. I'm also open to trades + cash for certain 600s.
  21. Bout the only way ill eat Ihop, so overpriced.
  22. Yeah im hoping to get a lil more out of it, even looking at trading it back in to ASK. Yeah she has always wanted to, and when we started dating and she found out I had a bike she was hooked. So I taught her to ride, now she just needs her own cause 2 up on a 250 doesnt count as fun. AmeriCorp is a work volunteer program, shes in a division called City Year, she works in schools with innercity kids. Since its volunteer based theres no minimum wage so she gets roughly $4/hr which is no kind of state to be buying a motorcycle in. Shes already got her permit and she signed up for the BRC today, so shes itching to ride.

  23. Uhm I got it fall of '08. Lil over 5k miles experience. Looking for something bigger now that Ive got the jist of things.

  24. Bob Alten. Ha no shit man I've seen some bikes sitting there before, even seen some guys outside when I rode past. Kawi green Ninja 250 and a black and white Scorpion Exo-700. Prolly in shorts and tshirt cause I havent saved up for gear.
