Why is it that America is the only place on the planet that resists Soccer as the number 1 sport on the whole planet?
Cant wait for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa then the 2014 Worl Cup in Australia or England (see if we can repeat the 1966 cup final result)
I've often wondered that very same thing. Along with why we call a sport where we pass & run with an oblong object, (while knocking the crap out of each other) football; yet we refer to a sport where both sides kick a (spherical) ball for 80 min soccer. Meanwhile most other countries call this sport football...

All these peeps running their traps and really NO concrete plans!
Princess P: Seriously, Bar 23 is an actual bar, and it's pretty decent most of the time. It's in Short North across the street from Hyde Park on N. High and Goodale.
-
Damn....
What are you coming to the table with.....and not the DONG....son
Nah mayne... I wouldn't just walk in and lay that on the table. (Pretty funny though). I usually bring cups and/or ice whenever I visit ppl for dinner.
Maybe some home made Mac&Cheese if you're lucky. Mom's recipe is SICK SON!

Yesterday I was jogging toward campus around 3:15, and saw someone on a new CBR 1000RR (silver) riding down High St. Anyone here?

Bar 23 on High St. (High and Goodale) is a pretty decent place, to hang out and have a drink. I may dip down there later if you guys wanna link up.

The RC comes with a 190 rear, but it will accommodate a 180. When I bought mine, it had a 180/55 on it... Turn-in was hella quick!

I agree with InyAzz... Let's wait until he's sworn in, let him do the job that he was elected to do, and see where this thing goes. I have every confidence that he will bring about some positive, and much needed alteration to this country's current state of business.
I HIGHLY doubt that the nation's richest 1% are going to pack it up and leave... They have it TOO good here, and increasing their income taxes by an avrg. of about 4% isn't going to change anything.
The whole "Obama's a Muslim" thing... Are we really still be-laboring this topic? After the election was called in Obama's favor, I did some channel surfing just get a hold of each network's take on the outcome, and to hear what each analyst had to say about what happened prior to the speeches of Obama and McCain. NOT TURNING THIS INTO A RACIAL SITUATION, but there was a lady on Fox who felt the need to remind the nation that technically Barak Obama is bi-racial, and was raised by his white grandparents. Now this is NOT news to any of us. However, I found it interesting that throughout his campaign (up until Tuesday morning), Barak was an un-American, Muslim Terrorist with terrorist ties and that NO One should support him... Now, suddenly he's bi-racial and his caucasian grandparents are responsible for his success.
Now, I think that he definitely owes accolades to his grandparents, as well as his wife, campaign mgrs, and supporters... and he did an excellent job of conveying his gratitude to those individuals.

I can dig it!

Yeah, I went there once, and I wouldn't even let them look at my car, because I knew what the outcome would be. I just told the dude that I was planning to sell before I buy. I take getting low balled personally and would rather avoid the insulting experience all-together.

Sell your girlfriend, buy a new bike!

Shipping included? That's a good deal. Most places on eBay try to hit you up for at least $45 in shipping. I've seen shipping as high as $70 on tires.
-
Whats the price of the PP and 2CTs? But i also agree that a lot of it is mental.
I've seen sets of the 2CTs on eBay ranging from $289-$335.
Pilot Powers I've seen hovering around $270/pr.
Lucky for PrincessP (or anyone looking for a front tire), I have a brand new Pilot Power 2CT sitting in the garage that I'm looking to unload. Then all she would have to do is pay for a rear which may not be that bad of a deal.
-
+1 on the Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs. I put quite a few miles on my last set (circa 8K). The thing with dual compound tires such as the 2CT (and the Pirelli Diablo) is that the center of the tire carcass is composed of medium compound (for durability and traction) while the shoulder/corners of the tire are composed of a much softer compound for greater traction while cornering. As afore stated in this thread, successful cornering is more of a mental task than anything. You must brake early, and have confidence in WHATEVER set of tires that you're running, before leaning and accelerating. However, I've found the Pilot Powers 2CTs to be a very "confidence inspiring" set of tires.
