serpentracer
my gerber is a POS. the steel is cheap. dulls easily cutting soft materials. I have this one, http://www.gerberknives.co/product/Gerber/Knives/22-41432/EVO-Serrated-Edge
serpentracer
realized that's not actually gerber's site. other reviews confirms what I said about the blade. http://www.gerbergear.com/Tactical/Knives/EVO-Jr-Knife_22-41493
jporter12
Must resist the urge to buy another knife... Seriously, I have 4 Kershaw's, a S&W, and a CRKT. All have seen extensive use except the CRKT, which is sitting here on my desk, bought from a previous Woot deal.
shadyone
I picked 2 of them up I ve been looking for a knife to replace my large Gerber Tanto blade F.A.S.T. which I love but it gets in the way for everyday carry.
shadyone
I received my knives and they are a pretty nice little knife for the price. The spring assist works great. They are nice and quiet and the blades are pretty sharp. I'll be using it for my EDC when not at work. The only complaint I have is its not serrated at all. speedytriple
Some work with a diamond rod could make them serrated.
JohnG
Got mine last week, too. They're ok and will make decent stocking stuffers. Worth the money, but I could do without the safety... not helpful for quick deployment, so this will just be for utility and not SD. They're back on Woot this week with some other edged goodies if you're interested, including a serrated offering (I got the vallatton because it's NOT). http://sport.woot.com/plus/knives-multi-tools-
shadyone
I've gotten really good with the other Gerber FAST Assist knife I have. The safety is a non issue for me. One smooth motion up to make sure the safety is off then over to open the blade. I'd practice with it before giving it up already.
