JackFlash
Apparently, just because you can't get in the classyou want at the beginning of the season when theyfirst post MSF classes, it doesn't mean that theywon't post more as the year goes on. Here are some coming up very quickly. I understand thatthese advanced classes were not posted at thebeginning of the season, so you have to keep youreye on the Motorcycle Ohio website. There appear to be plenty of Beginning RiderCourses available, too. http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/advanced_rider.stm Butler Technology & Career Development Schools (S)5140 Princeton Glendale Rd Room 200Hamilton OH, 45011 11 Seat(s)ARC $50 9/29/2013 - 9/29/2013Sunday(9/29) 07:45 AM - 05:00 PM; Ohio Department of Public Safety (B)1970 West Broad St.Columbus OH, 43223 3 Seat(s)ARC $50 10/12/2013 - 10/12/2013Saturday(10/12) 09:00 AM - 07:00 PM; 7 Seat(s)(Register) ARC $50 10/13/2013 - 10/13/2013Sunday(10/13) 09:00 AM - 07:00 PM; Edited September 25, 2013 by JackFlash

Helmutt
The ARC is actually pretty good. It could be more difficult, but for the money... it's a quality class.Seconded. It wont really test or teach much to a skilled/seasoned rider, but it's worthy of the pricetag. And, you can still turn it into your insurance provider for a double kickback and virtually make money by completing the courseRephrase - it deemed me a return from my insurance provider, other results may vary Edited September 27, 2013 by Hellmutt
Tigerpaw
This weekend, USAF is making me take BRC-2, the old Experienced Rider Course. The price is free. Only thing it will cost is, an early Saturday.Next time I have mandatory training, I will opt for the advanced rider course or the sport bike course.Curious if this will drop my insurance rate even further. Helmutt
Looking at the course time frames Jack listed, I find it odd that the ARC I took at the Honda plant in Troy was only 8am-1pm. Wondering what I missed out on, if anything?Tiger, I got a 2 year deduction on my insurance premium before it expired and returned to standard rates. I believe we had Progressive at that time, just fyi

Looking forward to deductions!!!
Tigerpaw
Just finished the BRC-2. It was a good class. Only TWO "experienced" people dropped their bikes, lol. I would like to attend the sportbike course before doing a track day or superbike school.
