I was thinking dirty fuel injector, but I have confirmed that this is only happening in first gear. zx3vfr Posted February 16, 2014 Report Share Posted February 16, 2014 More or less than 100k? If less drain the fluid, in the case and if possible drain the fluid in the torque convertor. ReconRat Posted February 16, 2014 Report Share Posted February 16, 2014 Low rpm stumble. For an off idle stumble, I'd clean the carb, or injectors, or check fuel flow in general at idle. Check for a vacuum leak. It just won't show in the other gears, at the higher rpm that it shifts at. Bad spark is usually a high rpm stumble. But either way, checking fuel and spark is a reasonable first move, and a lot easier and cheaper. And a single bad spark plug wire or plug could indeed cause it. air/fuel/spark is kinda touchy at low rpms Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
