I'm still alive and riding today, I like to think that extra experience has saved my butt on many occasions... redkow97 Posted April 20, 2014 Report Share Posted April 20, 2014 I understand your position, but "I did it and I survived" doesn't mean that you didn't defy the odds. It's like learning on a liter sport bike. Lots of people do it, but a higher percentage have accidents than those who start on smaller bikes. It CAN be done, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.
