speedytriple Posted August 26, 2014 Report Share Posted August 26, 2014 So the running boards on my sport trac were badly sun faded. I tried every type of wipe, spray, and treatment i had on hand. They all only lasted a few days, so i got some black plasti dip. Masked it off and sprayed on a few heavy coats. Wow! what a difference it made. TheBrown57 Posted August 27, 2014 Report Share Posted August 27, 2014 I only used 3 coats and I wish I would have used more. I would recommend 5 for sure. I'm going to be redipping them sometime soon and I did the same as Jester and just peeled it off the tire. As far as cleaning I just use some tire shine and hit them to make em shinny.
