Gixxus Christ!
I have a pair of sliders mk4 Kevlar lined jeans that are nearing retirement. They have saved my ass (literally) a few times and although the Kevlar is still unharmed the denim isn't doing so well. I have a pair of mesh/textile pants for super hot days and a set of leathers for early spring/late fall, just like having the Kevlar jeans for the in betweens and for going places where I don't wanna walk around in leathers or mesh riding pants. So what have y'all used? Crashed? Loved? Hated?
Josh1234
I pretty much need all these questions answered, too, so I'm going to just subscribe and read replies. The pants I have now are just too hot for summer days
Bad324
Icons are inexpensive and what I've worn. Never crashed in them though and real glad as I think they would have held up ok but not near as good as others. They were comfy as hell though
Gixxus Christ!
I should add that my sliders have removable and adjustable knee armor, a feature I would like to retain.
jbot
don't fix if it aint broke. get another pair assuming they're around. i have a pair of kevlar lined jeans but dunno brand or anything. never crash tested but i'm sure they'd do alright. nothing fancy. i have crash tested several sets of one piece leather multiple times, so i can give you lots of feedback on those lol
Gixxus Christ!
The sliders are good but not perfect, they're very baggy and made for someone much taller than myself despite ordering my correct inseam size. The knee armor pockets are a bit low...was hoping to hear about someone having a really great experience with another brand. Will check out the icon jeans for sure. Bad324
you'll run in to the same problem with the ICON jeans as far as in seam. I think we're about the same height and they definitely were probably 2-3" longer than preferred
Wojo72
I bought a set of super sliders jeans from IP. They were on clearance. Thankfully I haven't tested them yet. I'd like some over pants to use for work day commuting but I was trying to wait for end of season deals.Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
Bad324
That's because your guts are hindering waistline placement. The pants aren't too long. What's that? Sorry I can't hear you from atop your high horse
