ScubaCinci
Wow, I was shocked to hear this! http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2016/04/21/pop-superstar-prince-dies-57/?intcmp=hpbt1 While he was a strange one...I always respected him because he wrote a lot (if not all) of his music and the man could play a guitar very well.

whaler
As one of my good friends put it "Prince is a fucking Pimp" Made great music and could out play most on any instrument you handed him. Real musical genius.
wolfeman28
I don't get into the whole celebrity obsession thing, but Prince was one of the few pop musicians I actually respect/ed. Best Super Bowl halftime performance ever was from this guy too.

I wasn't referring to pop the genre, I was referring to popular music.

The man is making love to his guitar. EXTREMELY under-rated for sure! I had forgotten how talented he was, until watching this, then it all came back to me! scottb
Hard to believe Purple Rain was from 1984! I was not a fan for the more recent music from Prince, but amazing that he has re-invented himself over time. A showman and performer, just wow The video that has gone viral of "Prince's last performance of Purple Rain" was recorded by my wife's cousin, Jake Reuse. This was recorded at the Atlanta show last week.
waynesworld
Here is a video about the previously referenced Superbowl halftime show. Best halftime show ever. Greatest musician that I've ever heard play. Greatest showman also.
motocat12
"til I get your daughters, I won't leave this town" I guess he got all the daughters. I played "Seven" on repeat a bunch in high school.

TMZ the only ones who will print anything HIPA laws regardless... Yahoo agrees. https://www.yahoo.com/movies/prince-reportedly-overdosed-painkiller-days-death-160240385.html This gets a bit long but has funny parts if you play it in the background.
