Vagabound
If memory serves you could bump start those models. Have you tried dumping the clutch on a roll in 2nd gear?
motocat12
what happens when you short the starter relay posts? Tip over sensor still oriented right?
Gixxus Christ!
If no voltage drop across battery terminals when hitting starter button I'd check: The starter button itself Associated wiring Clutch safety switch Side stand safety switch

Battery should read 13+ with no load.
motocat12
You can try boost jumping it with a NON running car battery.
Wolfman1
If you get it started keep your meter on the battery to ensure it is charging properly. You should get 14 to 14.8 VDC at all RPMs.
c7fx
The tail has two relays one for the fuel cut off and the other is a bank angle. Take the relay from the high beams its on the left side front and swap it with the two relays in the back. Easy way to rule out the relays. They are all the same so no worries. Gixxus Christ!
I meant if the voltage drops over the battery while attempting to start it, but yes a low battery would cause issues but usually the starter solenoid with click click click when that happens
Rc51_bud1000
It was the ground wire on the motor... Usually something stupid ... We checked all relays the neutral switch clutch switch and Sid stand switch they were all showing continuity so we checked the ground to motor has a slight film on it cleaned it up and that allowed the starter relay to get current it is running like an rc should ... It's usually something stupid and it was and just happened to be the last thing I checked but it's running now so I'm pumped ... Thanks for the advice and tips

ReconRat
Having had a few ground wires between battery, frame or engine fail on bikes and cars... I always check and repair them first when doing a no start. If the battery is good, of course... Quick and easy check is to jumper from battery ground to conductive engine part and try a start. Tonik
2 hours ago, Isaac's Papa said: Well, yeah. You stop checking once it works. Unless it's a Duc. In that case you should keep going to get a head start on the next problem.
