Hi, everyone!

Cincinnati Native just moved back from Arizona after a stint of 10 years in the desert. I've included several of my professional interests as tags. I've been a daily rider most of my life. To me, motorcycles and aircraft are an affair of the heart, an art, and science. I have a deep and abiding love of its history, while bing unapologetically obsessed with playing a part its future technologically and devoted equal opportunity to enter all aspects of competitive motorsports to communities that have been and continue be systemically excluded.

Right now I'm working on bringing to market products I've invented in order to raise the funds I need to bootstrap my motorcycle company into existence. No loans, grants, minority, or women's set aside programs. No incubator or accelerators, although I am a member of FounderDating which is a fantastic community of creators, makers, and visionary entrepreneurs.

I'm interested in mostly urban exploration and discovery on two wheels, along with socializing and riding together to activities both motorsports and extracurricular activities from bowling to baseball, shopping at Findlay Market, movies, concerts, eating out my diet is mostly Asian/Japanese, I'm not a big fan of American sushi but have found a few locations for well prepared, fresh sashimi. Oddly enough, my favorite restaurant is Tucker's on Vine and it doesn't take much persuasion to steer me to Skyline or Frisch's.

On a mundane note, a couple of weeks before I moved back here to Cincy, I found a leak in a front fork of my 2013 FZ6R. So far the shops I've contacted seem to think women have the mechanical and financial intelligence of a radish. If some would please refer me to a repair shop near Xavier University that won't take me for a fool because of race and gender I would appreciate it.

That's all for now. I look forward to getting to know you near and far.

I bid you all peace,

Ti' Ama

Welcome home...although your timing could have been a bit better, in that you've arrived just as the weather is going to get cold, wet and gloomy.  You probably already knew that.  Hope you kept some good friends as contacts in the balmy southwest, where the brutal heat is giving way to a warm, sunny winter.   :o)  Not sure exactly what you mean when you say your fork is leaking (I assume you mean the fork seal?) but I'd take it to the AFJ Race shop (http://www.afjraceshop.com/) on Eastern Ave first and talk to Brandon or Eric.  There are other shops that are qualified--Cadre (http://cadrecycle.com/motorcycle-service-and-repair/) and Pro Stock Performance (https://www.facebook.com/pg/Pro-Stock-Performance-Dyno-194361860610764/about/?entry_point=page_nav_about_item&ref=page_internal) come to mind--but they're out in the suburbs.

There are a few groups here in Cincinnati that would be reasonable first contacts to connect with the biker community, and then filter out what doesn't have relevance.  I'd check out Cincinnati Cafe Racers and LocalRiders on FB Groups, where you'll find a list of meet-ups in the area:  Comet in Northside every Tuesday night (everything you could want in a bar--hipsters, surly waitstaff, and burritos bigger than your head!), Fuel Coffee on Riverside every Saturday morning from 8-12 (cars and bikes), and Northeast Tuesday Bike night every other Tues in Milford by MJ's on Main.  You just missed the MotoberFest event but the next worthwhile gathering is the Alley Meet at Fuel Coffee on Sunday morning, Oct 9th, 8-12.  Big gathering that Fuel opens for on Sunday (normally closed) prior to the Devil's Staircase Hillclimb event in Oregonia.  Guaranteed to keep you entertained for an hour or two, plus good coffee, lattes, mochas, and bisquits'n'sausage gravy.

Also a link to the Devil's Staircase Hillclimb event in Oregonia.  Probably be a group that rides from Fuel up to the hillclimb around 10-11ish.

I haven't owned a cage in 3 years. Thought about buy a truck but just never got around to it. Soon as I get my sled fixed and find a permanent and safe place to live, you'll see me around more.
