Mary#17
My husband and I decided we needed some more laid back bikes for around town. Last year he finished his project Moto Guzzi and he's been working on my bike this year. It's a 1980 Yamaha XS400. We still have a lot to do on it, but it's getting closer. We are hoping to have it at least functional enough to ride to the Mods vs Rockers event on Saturday. My husband took it down to the frame and manufactured a lot of the parts by himself. I'm really happy with how it's coming together and looking forward to riding it. He has a build thread over here http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=73622.0 1

Tpoppa
I've seen you ride by on your Duc(s). I think you live a mile or 2 from me.

Mary#17
Well, sadly, we apparently have a few more kinks to work out. Only made it about 4 miles on Saturday then had to do the trailer ride of shame. It was fun to ride though. Neat and very different than my other bike. The kick start is kind of cool too. Battery won't hold a charge or something related to that. Looking at relay/regulator, maybe stater. We will see.
