youngrider
Hey all, I did something fairly dumb. I had a backpack with me and decided to put it on my handle bars when I went into a store. I came back to find some of the rubber on the bottom of my bike had melted to my header. I got a lot of it off, but some smeared and is now stuck. Sigh. Anyone have some ideas on how to get this off without ruining my chrome? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
Tonik
Warm it a up little and hit it with easy off. Don't panic and start scraping it, this will take a bit.
Gixxus Christ!
Oven cleaner while hot. Works wonders.
whaler
Just don't get the oven cleaner on any paint or anodized parts... it will strip them quickly.
