Nitrousbird
Almost 2 years ago, low oil pressure took out the motor on my boat. Lack of funds parked it until now, and about a year and a half ago I put it into my uncles' open face barn. Well, today I brought her home. She stayed pretty dry in there; very little mildew on the vinyl, nothing seems rotted, smells normal, and other than needing a bath (especially the cover), and a motor rebuild, she's doing pretty well. My Jimmy seems to tow the boat a bit better than my Blazer used to, which is a big plus as well. http://www.cofba.org/users/nitrousbird/Boat/Boat%20Returns%20-%201.JPG http://www.cofba.org/users/nitrousbird/Boat/Boat%20Returns%20-%2011.JPG http://www.cofba.org/users/nitrousbird/Boat/Boat%20Returns%20-%203.JPG http://www.cofba.org/users/nitrousbird/Boat/Boat%20Returns%20-%207.JPG Link

Skinner
nice boat just a FYI columbus code states that you can not have a boat parked in you drive way at any time. Both of my neighbors got letters in the mail to move them. You should not get a ticket at first usually they will mail you a letter and give you 15 days to have it moved first. In either case, the trailer must have current tags on it. Also was told by the R-burg zoning person to park it in my driveway when I had it parked in the grass a couple years ago. That said, I'm probably going to still try parking it in my side yard w/ concrete pads under the wheels/front caster and see if I can get away with that. This is where the zoning codes don't really cover, and is up to interpretation. Thanks for the compliments on my boat. It's alright I guess; I've been around enough nice boats that I feel this one is good for a first boat, nothing more. When running right (and the right prop, which I finally sorted out after trying 4 different props), it will pull me out on a slalom ski, which was important to me. Condition wise, it's FAR better than many of the similar boats I looked that were being sold for thousands more.
86GT
Looks like a pretty nice boat, it would suck not having it for almost two years.
