new miata wheels (56k owned) take 2

so since ive gotten the miata ive been wanting to upgrade the wheels im on. well ive been searching u wrench it(junkyard) and ebay and i finaly got a set. they are 14x6 BBS look a likes that i picked up rims and tires(crappy of course) for 150 for all 4. well they got here today and i decided they will be either autocross rims or daily driver rims. well heres just pics of them. they need cleaned very bad!

haha had a few hours to screw around today with the car and rims but i didnt even get to clean them. heres pics

the wheels are mostly going to be autocross only and they will be getting painted once i get the time to clean them first. the headlights are only like that to get more airflow and more air into the bay. that is pretty much just for now im working on my turnsignal intakes and NACA headlight duct. thanks for the feedback tho haha

yea...they are pretty "old" looking, maybe if you took the center caps out they might look a little more "racey"?

if you want more air to the engine, b/c im suure a stock miata needs more air.... get a headlight cover like mine and actually cut metal out. i'm not sure how miatas are designed but the "lazy eye" mod doesn't do shit. there is other stuff in the way behind the healight.

yeah, my car is almost twice as old as his and I can atleast drive it daily without any worries... toyotas just keep going and going

the miata's have major overheating due to cooling problems. and yes i am working on a headlight lid like yours but the ones that are alrety made the duct is way to small to actually matter. i have a new headlight lid in the mail and a naca duct comming so once i get time to make it i surly will

LOL you obviously have no idea what an AE86 is, nor the demand and respect for them. He is simply stating the well known fact that DSM's are not reliable. Yes they can be fast, but something is always broken on a DSM.
