A couple of coworkers and I were returning to work from looking at the site where the new Bookstore is currently being built. I look over and see this dark rat scurrying across the road and next thing I see is a Red Tail Hawk swoop down and catch this rat. He flies over to the pine trees in front of Nestor Hall about 20 feet away from the road. Then he decides to eat the rat right there on the ground! We walk over to get a closer look and I go and get my Camera. We stand about 10-15 feet away and he keeps eating. We were so close!
