taking axel nut off

i dont ahve air tools.. i ahve a breaker bar and myself only to do this..

 

what is the easiest way to get an axel nut off.. i got a crow bar holding the lugs.. and me wiht a breaker bar.. and i cant get the fucking things to budge an inch.. i need them off now... what the hell do i do

use the pry bar between the studs and run the handle into the ground, then get a breaker bar with as much cheater bar as you need, use exhaust pipe, whatever. remember alto of cars are upwards of 200+ ft/lbs on axle nuts call me if you need a pipe, 256-4040

Yeah, what he said. I will assume your rims have a hole in the center of them to get to it. On the Audi I had to put the rim back on with the e-brake on, drop it on the ground so the drive terrain wouldn't move. The again, it took my weight on the end of a 2ft. breaker bar. Granted spec. is 85ft/lb plus 270 degrees! I was starting to crank the engine and move the whole car when I had it in the air.

 

I have a nice 2ft. 1/2" breaker/cheater bar if you want to borrow it. I started breaking ratchets left and right so I went and bought one.
