400 HO
I'm looking to buy a used 2000 Honda Accord (30,000 mile) for the wife and I had a question for all you guys. Now I've done this many times.. but I never seem to get it right. I was wondering how you guys felt about how much should I be willing to nego. off the price. I need at least $2500 off the sticker price. Do you think that's honestly too much or is that too little. The car is listed at 13,500. I need at least $2500 off to break even on my trade (1997 Camry). I never pay sticker!! I want to negociate a fair price. Any thoughts?? Alex1647545498
Asking price sounds about right for the milage on the market. I'd say you should be able to get it. Depeonding on how desperate they are on selling it.
zeitgeist57
My parents just got a 2001 Accord (same exact bodystyle) with a little under 30k for almost the same exact price. They had the LX (cloth interior, steel wheels with hubcaps, no sunroof). eBay always sells cheaper, but if you can bring a 2000+ low-mileage Accord anywhere below $12k, do it. Otherwise, you are still buying a flaw-free car for a great price, IMO.
