Clifford Automotive Posted April 1, 2005 Report Share Posted April 1, 2005 it is for 911 cases nextel says please wait blah blah blah because from what the service tech said. when you turn on your phone the closest tower becomes your "home tower" when you drive instead of nextel switching to another tower, your service bounce to your home tower then starts bouncing around tower until it finds your phone.
