I need to take some pics on a sunny day

the paint is newish... a few problems with it drivers front signal marker busted and duct taped, leaking a very tiny bit of fuel, exhaust is rusting from low miles, and brakes are bad from low miles, needs pads and 2 rotors turned smile.gif thats about it smile.gif

Well, $600.00.

Long story short.... I Win!

Oh, the white Celica in the background got that for $500.00 My 87 turbo Supra was free, $0.00, on a promise that I would make it road worthy again. I did, now I need to sell it smile.gif

The Audi was my fiance's grandpa's. He worked and lived in Clintonville, a couple times a week he would venture up to Worthington Hills C.C. to play some golf smile.gif

Something like 2200 miles a year. The computer says an average of 19.5 miles to the gallon and his old over all speed was 25 M.P.H. that is it. I need to actually "break the car in" at 16 years old. smile.gif

He bought an 03 TL 3.2, so in 5 or 10 years I will buy that to smile.gif similar situation im sure smile.gif

When the weather gets nice again, Im going to detail the shit out of this car. smile.gif

Thank you all for the positive feedback on this car, I'm excited about it, as it really is a rare find in this shape.

  • 2 weeks later...

Want to buy that celica?

And, really, does anyone have 5000 turbos laying around or at least some knowledge about Audi's this is my first and is still new to me. any help?

I would like to put a very small turbo on this, drop it about an inch, new wheels and tires, shocks/struts, big brakes, run a nice quality exhaust system, so lil' help.

You won't be putting a turbo on it but you can do a turbo motor swap from a 5000. You can use either auto or manual for your doaner car but the ecu is different on a auto. The wiring harness is what gives most people troubles as audi wire looms get VERY brittle at older ages. If you want to get ahold of some people who know what they are doing contact blaufergnugen or 2benett audimotive.

not that it's not possible but TRUST me the amount of work it takes is retarted and NO ONE does it, so that means you would be a pioneer in the world of 15-20 year old audis. Call 2bennett they will give you the complete low down.

But just to list a few things

radiator needs moved

accessories all need moved around

harness is different

you will need to either swap a turbo harness and ecu or you will need to go stand alone on a 5 cly car(good luck)

cams are different

compression is different

block is different

then you would need to buy everything seperate.

You will have to change everything but the block

Why not just swap who cares about miles

It's a german car it's not the miles that get you it's the age of teh seals. As they get old they harden and break. I don't care if you have 10K miles or 100K miles it's an old car. Plus a doaner car can be had for 1000-1500.

To add a turbo would be about 3-4 k in parts.

Good luck.
