1.Availiable powertrains (potential)

 

2.full frame

 

3.RWD/AWD

 

4.not a belly button (not something common)

 

5.streetability (speak soft and carry a big stick kinda thing)

 

6.reasonable to work on I don't want to have to bust out a can opener to change my oil

#5) Can I afford it?

#4) Does it have a strong motor?

#3) Does it handle well?

#2) Does it have an actual HOOD, or just an access hatch?

...and the #1 thing I look for in a performance vehicle is) Do I fit between the seat and the steering wheel?(ok, ok, I'm fat already...)
