which clutch are you putting in? If i would have read it sooner i would have been out, unfortunatly i have to work today.

hoblick, i have a practically brand new ram clutch here u could have had real cheap.

remember to put a jack under the crank pulley and jack up bout 2-3 inches so the tranny will slide right out

yeah.. i couldnt get the damn h pipe bolts loose. the ones on the manifolds. had a 1/2" breaker bar and nothing. i guess ill wait till i can get some power tools.

 

also what in gods name happened. yesterday i could punch it in 2nd or third froma slow roll and rpms move up and i dont... but today i punch it in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th from a slow slow slow roll and it moves no matter what no slipping. but my 1st to 2nd hard shift slips the clutch.

i would think it would slip more on hard shifts or high rpms when there is more of a load and not from a slow roll.

do happen to have a valve cover leaking and running down onto the clutch by chance? if you don't get it changed and come home, that clutch is sittin in my garage

i agree, it sounds like you're getting some oil or something finding it's way to the clutch
