Crash1647545504
Well, woke up at 10:20 in Dublin (Jon's house) to get to work by 12:00. So I take 270 to Gahanna, but the Road is closed for a parade, so I get back on the freeway. I take the Broad St Newark exit, it is a suggested limit of 35, I start to take it at 45 not being a big deal because I have taken it at 60 before. I lean into it a little, not even as if I was tryin to take it fast, just a little lean, but the bike keeps on going down . I slide accros the ramp on my back with the bike. I came to a stop in the middle of the ramp and the bike about 15 ft away from me in the grass. Cars behind me drive around me. I still don't know if it was my fault or not. I thought it was gravle but there were only a few chunks I saw after I looked around, the bike just came out from under me? I wish I woulda known if it was somthing I did so I would know for next time but it will remain a mistery to me. My only guess is oil, gravel, or just cold tires. Final damage: Fairing below the body line scraped to hell Broken Slider Broken swingarm spool Broken stay (dear god not gaian) Scraped to hell exhaust And broken handlbar bracket My jacket didnt even have a mark, not a streak, nothing. Blah and to add to the kick in the nuts, It's the 4th, work is closed. Where can I get fairings?
Devils Advocate
Looks like you and I are taking a few trips today to look for fairings....
Crash1647545504
I can ride with scraped fairings, I need to fix the Stay and handlbars first.
JaSSon
Chec e-bay. Also Cycle-parts.com I don't know of anymore off the top of my head. Try and find a motorcycle bone yard. Gravel is the suck.
88lx5oh
.. i can get that fairing back to new. dont buy a new one, they are waaaaaaay expensive. chech ebay, cycle search, and stunt life, or a kawasaki forum for the other parts

DrEvil3264
the parts are new on here, deff not cheap but are a lot cheaper then getting new parts from the dealer. They sell fairings for just about every sport bike. www.ronayersmotorsports.com

owndjoo
damnit ben! that sux. coulda been alot of things. but one that came to mind was your body position. since you thought you werent takin it that hard, did you slide over at all? even if it was oil, gravel, etc. you body position can be the dif. between savin it and a low side.
