Steering wheel vibrates while braking

The topic says it all, but I want to know why, and how to fix it. Mainly when I brake in the 35mph to 25mph range my steering wheel and car vibrates. The front brakes/rotors are a little over a year old, and the back brakes are original, but I just checked them today, and they still have plenty of life of them. Please help, thanks.

Still sounds to me like your rotors are warped... Other than that it could be something with your ABS system.

that sucks. Have you ever done front brakes on an accord before? well in short you have to press the rotors out of the hubs, it really sucks. Not something I want to do any time soon. I will check them with a mic before I rip them apart though.

are you sure? He said its an accord. Accords are different from most other hondas. On the accords its not 2 screws and out.

However, if you really can do accord rotors 20 min. a side I wouldnt mind watching/helping because I always thought they were much more difficult.

also check: bent rim

bad thought, but it happens

tire out of balence could be amplified while braking, or else tires that havent been rotated in a while.

more serious: upper or lower ball joints could be getting worn (dodge intrepids do this, had 3 of em in the past month with that problem)
