You can also try a dremel/hacksaw/grinder and flatten two sides of the bolt then have a go at it with a crescent wrench, or if your grind it right a proper sized wrench.

Berto's got stripped bolt removers that have brought me to tears of joy when I've used them. They're thuper-fantastic.

 

I'm not saying Berto would let YOU borrow them, but investing in a set would be a good idea right about now. smile.gif

That's the first thing that came to my mind when I read this thread.

 

But, now that it's stripped you might want to go to Sears and get the Craftsman bolt-extractor sockets. They work wonders.

Cheapest way is a chisel,hammer it straight into one of the sides so it's in there good. Then point it to the left and tap it counter clockwise. It should come right out. I've used this for broken bolts, stripped heads, etc.
