large_x7
Okay, I know this is kind of lame, but rarely do I purchase a tool and find that it greatly exceeds my expectations. I was at Home Depot last week and they have a ratchet that, well, ratchets when you twist the handle like a screwdriver! That means you don't need any space to ratchet something, cause you don't have to rotate the arm. Also, it ratchets when you twist in both directions, so there is no longer any need to hold the bolt when you get it started. Just twist away. I just used this ratchet to put my throttle body back together and it rules! It's a little pricey, but it comes with a lifetime warranty and is well worth it, IMO. EDIT: Apparently the link doesn't work right. The item number is 24903, if anybody really wanted to check it out
BiG BeN
yep, i scored one of those a few months ago.worth it's weight in gold when it comes to manifold nuts, and thi8ngs of that nature.i just wish they would've put a 3/8"drive square in the handle of it so you could get more torque than just twisting. 99FLHRCI
Are you seriously calling a $30 ratchet with a lifetime warranty expensive? Step on a Snap-On, Mac, Matco, Cornwell truck. Oh, and just to warn you have 911 on hold when you do it. I paid $45 for a wrench (no tat was not meant to be plural) on the truck the other day and it was nothing out of the norm. Rice Eater
Stanley has had MAC up for sale since atleast last spring. That's why they pulled back alot of their racing sponsorships.
