Boost-n-Juice
It just seems like a long route to drive to DC and then down. Any better routes?
Ziggy1647545504
70E TO 69S TO 68E TO 70E TO 81S. Should put you in Richmond in about 7-9 hours. Much more pleasant than going all the way into DC and dealing with the traffic on MD 270, 495 and 95.

Did you mean 79S instead of 69S? 81S doesn't go to Richmond, you have to take 64E from 81S. It will probably add an hour to the trip, but it might save you that in traffic around DC. GRN96WS6
&9S not 69S but yes you have to take 64E into Richmond. I'd avoid DC at all costs the 270, 495, 95 traffic SUCKS! Sadly I am in it everyday.

Mensan
23S to 35 into Charleston, then I-64 all the way to Richmond. IMO, by far the fastest.
Crash1647545504
Hamilton Rd to Columbus Airport. Take Cesna to Ritchmond. Go sky diving.
zeitgeist57
^^^Git speling lesons Ex-G/F in college lived in the Fan District. Richmond is a beautiful city. South through WV and then on 64E is the best way to go. On weekends, watch out for cops. The Dulles Corridor is the worst area to drive a car outside of LA and NYC. Avoid it like the plague.
