Guest busteryhyman
Does anyone know a breeder around here that sells either of the above. doenst even have to be a puppy... i want to get one for my grandma for her birthday but all of the ones I've found are 1200-1500.
Dr. Pomade
Give me $750, I'll purchase a large lab rat, shave it, and your grandmother won't know it's not a chihuahua. smile.gif Seriously, $1200 for a chihuahua? I don't even classify those things as canines, let alone ones worthy of that pricetag.
nathan
For older folks the better choice is definitely the Chihuahua. The poodles have way more teeth and skin problems. Older people need something that is small, bigger dogs are too hard to take care of and need lots of hands on attention. I will ask a couple of people here at work about who might have something. (BTW I still hate small dogs)
Guest busteryhyman
I dont like 'em either but she wants something small that wont be too much trouble. a big dog will knock her ass over in a heartbeat
BloodRed
My Father-In-Law has a Chihuahua. I know he got it from a local breader that he is pretty good friends with. I will see if I can get the guys name and number for you.
Alex1647545498
Go on dispatch.com and look up on their classifieds section for breeders. You should look into breed behaviors before you choose.

Your domicile will not smell like a wet dog all the time and you won't have a 4 legged toilet brush on acid doing laps around the room and yapping 24/7! Adam
actually didn't they just classify chihuahua's rodents here recently?? and seriously you might as well get a cat over that, and i am a dog person
Bgbdbn
Our Chihuahua is pretty cool. He is a great lap dog. Not much of a yapper or anything like that, he is kinda lazy. Unless food hits the floor then he is speedy gonzalaz.

drblake
If you want a good small dog for your grandma go with a Cavalier King Charles Cocker Spaniel. Also, I would advise against the puppy and get an adult. An old lady doesn't want to potty train a dog.

I think on Paul Harvey *not sure*... I know they weren't rats, though. How do you know the bonsai kitten site is a joke? It doesn't look like it. http://www.bonsaikitten.com/pretreatment.jpg http://www.bonsaikitten.com/drilling.jpg I don't think someone would go to those lengths for a hoax, though I really hope you're right
