schmuckingham
I guess it went faster than that at the Honda/Acura shootout
Tulo
Corey's hatch is powered by a B18C1 with a GT40 turbo. It dyno'd 670ish hp on 29lbs of boost. It will see 40lbs and 9's pretty soon. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v251/Tulo52/IMG_0062small.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v251/Tulo52/IMG_0093small.jpg http://www.hometown.aol.com/btekvtec2001/Random_Car_pics/AH_shootout37.jpg http://www.hometown.aol.com/btekvtec2001/Random_Car_pics/AH_shootout5.jpg http://www.hometown.aol.com/btekvtec2001/Random_Car_pics/AH_shootout43.jpg *Disclaimer* I might be off on some of the specs but as far as I know they're pretty acurate. Nitrousbird
But where's the big wing, mad tyte graphics, bling-bling rims, neon everywhere? How can it be fast without that? That's pretty damn quick for a Honda.
trbmiata
thats pretty damn quick for any type of car.

AngryBMW
Damn...I passed that car on 270 last saturday night...thought it was just some tool until I noticed the cage and ginormous front mount. Pretty neat. -Marc
Rotarded1647545491
quicker than any local rx-7 That's quick as hell. I don't know if you are paying a complement, or hating? It's all good. There are a couple of local 7's prepping to attempt to bang into the tens in October. OK. The rest of you may now bring on the hate! Guest mudbutt
little of column a. little of b. Not really hating on the rotors so much as pointing out that this "fwd econo box" and its driver has suprassed any local rx-7 in the 1/4. Just a smart ass comment, no serious insult meant. IIRC someone maybe you? ran 11s on stock twins. I commend that but it would be nice to see some of these big hp big money cars hit the 10s as they have been claiming they would for years. Props to anyone though that puts the time and dough into their cars.
Art
Is that the same hatch he had in high school? The one that had the system in it, that we took to audio shows? I'm thinking it is. Man, that car has had a great life Kudos Corey! By the way, Corey is an awesome guy. Always has been, hopefully always will be.

Props to anyone though that puts the time and dough into their cars. That would be me, and with luck, that will be me. New set-up, far from where it was last year. The problem with getting RX-7s into the 11's, and below, is all about the weakness of the stock (torsen) differential, and the weaknesses of the person driving it. I believe 2 of us will have answered both those concerns.
