vitamincj Posted September 11, 2005 Report Share Posted September 11, 2005 I have been unhappy with the way my aftermarket exhaust hangs/rattles/bangs under my car. I have been seriously looking at hacking it up and rearranging it to exit in front of the passenger side rear wheel. Anyway, I have been trying to look into the legality of having my exhaust exit there but I can't find anything in the revised code. I thought there was some law against it but I can't find anything. SPLN SUX Posted September 12, 2005 Report Share Posted September 12, 2005 "past primary passenger compartment" usualy means it must terminate behind the driver... so unless your driving a front engine shifter kart, it can exit right infront of the rear wheel and noone should bother you about it.
