Science Abuse
that thing would probably produce enough lift to carry a 180lb man along with it...if he could fit in side. Hugging the fuselage would fuck up the slipstream too much. God damn i want one. I love B52s, and that can carry home made ordinance. Miller
The small planes are close to a thousand dollars, that was a loss of alot of money.

Science Abuse
follow up, more stuff: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robert.ashley/teambananaracing/b52sitefull.jpg The plane actualy did the exact same thing that a real B52 did at an airshow a whiole back. It exceeded the degree of banking that it could hold and dropped out of the sky. You dont generate any lift when you wings are perpendicular to the ground. The limits of the real thing applay to scale models.
Science Abuse
the afore mentioned real B52 crash at Fairchild in 94 Another vid of the model crash, you can see it was compounded by a heavy tailwind. more info; http://www.stukastudios.se/b52.htm http://www.mcgirt.net/RC/VIDEOS/Giant_B52/
