On May 27 PetPromise, an organization that helps all the homeless dogs and cats of central Ohio will be having a 5K run downtown starting near Nationwide Arena at 10:00 AM. Anyone who loves animals and wants to help can come and even bring their dog to run too. I am running in this race with our puppy Ollie, who came from Citizens for Humane Action shelter in Westerville. Please help sponsor us to raise money for this great cause. I had some concerns about adopting a dog from the shelter, but they really seem to care about what happens to the animals when they go home with someone.
