prakthad
The FieldSheer Radar suit at Iron Pony costs about 250$ less than the AlpineStars Octane Suit. The Fieldsheer looks pretty decent and so does 250$. Just thought I'd check if anyone has tried it.
Disclaimer
Dude, you don't need gear. If you talk to anyone on this site, the last thing we would do it preach the necessity of safety equipment. But seriously, I got nothing for you. Everything I've researched says to go with the A*Star brand.
exSRAaron
Pm sent..I personally tried on the FS two-piece at IP and wasnt very impressed with the fitment. My octane suit fits very nicely, especially for the price!Aaron

rubbersidedown
Insane is right.I bought this set and am happy with it. Fits me well and looked good new. It is comfortable and cool on all but the hotest Ohio days. I field tested it at 120MPH and walked away (do you need more than that). A couple of seams ripped out but I slid on the asphault for about 250 yds. I sewed up the seams and am debating whether they are still track worthy.bottom line in my opinion is:$300 + 120 MPH / saved my hide = good value
