Buck531
The clearcoat on my rims are going to shit. All 4. I was thinking of having them stripped and possibly powdercoated. Sand blasting? Air craft stripper?
grease monkey
sand blasting would work i think, not too sure how the alloy would handle it. are they factory wheels or aftermarket?? I think factory would probally handle better. air ctaft stripper would problly work as well, most or all aircraft is made of aluminumn, and if it works on that w/out fucking it up it should work on the alloy wheels.... just my thoughts, I have never tried either of those..... CbusBusa
i always used some stripper stuff from home depot. its in an orange spray can. i used it on aluminum motorcycle rims to strip them and repaint. let it sit for a few minutes and just wipe off the paint with a rag.
