Balian
So I have been watching it since I have been working from home, and lately they have been giving away the cheap cars. I have seen 3 cobalts and today they are giving away a Ford Focus. What happen to the days of the Mustangs and Camaros??
Dr. Apex
You never noticed they gave away stripped down base models of those cars too?? They always give away the ones like that. I'm more amazed that the show is still on the air and Bob Barker isn't dead yet!! You think maybe they replaced him with a clone??
Ramsey
I just watched them give away cts-v on thursday. ilove me some PIR!
Buck531
If/when they do give away mustangs and stuff.. they're V6 low end POS's. Then the dumbass peeps think they're high end models and bid like 35k for one..
Lustalbert
Thev give stuff away? I always thought it was a retirement home for fromer residents of the playboy mansion.
Nitrousbird
You know that the show is getting those cars either free or close enough to it. And since companies are using this for advertising, and the price is the big focus on the car, they want it to be as low as possible. Then the consumers watching will go "it's only xxx for that car, I should go look at one." They don't want the consumers getting the loaded out model price in their head. Mensan
Mustang and Camaros have always been cheap cars. Nothing has changed.
mmrmnhrm
If I remember, most of the car pricing games were designed with four digits in mind, making the most expensive option $9999. Of course, with inflation, all the cars people would actually want are a good bit more than that, so they're kinda stuck. As for Bob Barker, didn't Mensan's video teach you anything? He's a cranky old man that CBS won't let retire, no matter how wrong the price is, bitch. Yeah, I'm gonna go sit in my corner now

77nova
It doesnt matter what you get anyway. You have to pay taxes on everything you win. Thats why most people that win stuff on the show sell it.
yotaman88210
Forget winning a Car, I want to play PLINKO!! :leghump:

SpaceGhost
I had a friend that won a bunch of stuff on there he didn't need or like. The tax on it was stupid high. Cali sales tax is like 8.25%. He left it all there and didn't take it home. I bet most people who go on there do not take the stuff home because they can't afford to pay the Tax. So most stuff is not "donated" it is returned and gets free advertising.

Trouble Maker
One of my best friends ex's went on there and won a car. You actually get a voucher for the worth of the car. She 'won' a Saturn L200 and she bought a VUE.
Guest 78novaman
A voucher? That's nice. Can you take the tax out of it and wind up paying nothing out of pocket? That would kick ass!
