How long are safety belts good for?

 

Do you have to run a hood?

 

What is the cyrrent rating on the helmets have to be? SNx?

 

Can I wear shorts and a tee shirt that day?

2 or 3 yrs for the belts i think

 

my sn2000 was fine

 

and yes i do belive you have to run a hood

a lot of tracks are starting to require sn95 and up. I was shopping for helmets last week and did some research on it.

sn2000 and up on helmets, kill switch if battery is relocated(and firewall),blowdown tubes etc on N2O stuff. just stop by jegs and pickup the new 06 rulebook! or is that track still IHRA.

 

Ant if my car is not ready by d-day for this ,I'll be a voluenteer for tech , staging whatever you guys need! LMK

This is still IHRA rules, NHRA starts next year.

2 years on the belts for sure.

 

The helmet, the NHRA tech told me this is the last year for mine (SN-95).

 

IIRC, SN-98 is the next step up.
