Stampede
LS1? Would it run out of steam in the upper rpm's? This will only be for the street. Thanks.
rl
Horrible, dont even consider it. 2 of them would be close to working, but not well.
Nitrousbird
Why do people think that just becasue they aquired some random turbo off of _____ car that they can just slap it on their car and go?? The rest of the project is more expensive than the turbo itself, and a lot more work. Whether buying a kit (to which only certain turbos will work), or fabbing one yourself (at which point you'll be damn sure to be picky on what turbo goes in there, as you'll have a lot of time invested), buying a random turbo is just a waste of money IMO. Lustalbert
Single = not near enough flow. RL, dosen't the stock GN turbo only flow enough air to make about 400HP? For twins, you dont have enough cubes to spool them quickly. Unless you are going to build a 427 stroker, or some spray to get them started, but for the street, why? If you are putting that kind of money into an engine, get a set of turbos that actually have a compressor map that matches your motor.
