Been doing my homework and I'm -><- close to pulling the trigger on ordering a HDTV (1080p) and sound system from amazon.com.

 

Are there any local stores that would price match to a major online vendor (aka. amazon)?

 

There is about a $300 difference from retail sale prices right now and amazon. Thoughts?

I dont believe there is a single retail store that would match the pricing found on the internet. If its $300 cheaper than just order it online and have it delivered.

My dad just bout a new sony wega from HH GREG and they price matched amazon when he mentioned it.

Also, if you can wait, Cosco will be opening at Polaris soon. I know there will be stupid low prices in there.

cosco and sams club have very discontinued models. What is the model number and mfg of the TV.

I work for Panasonic and my advice....wait a few weeks on the TV...prices will be taking a dive come holiday season and new stuff is on the edge of coming out too.
